Thanks to a background tutorial and the smudge tool, I think I like the style of what I just did. That means I'll be doing more xD

Woah, I really like this one. I do a lot of graphics for a certain other site, but the smudge tool is something I don't and probably will never understand.
This phoenix looks terribly cute and powerful. Me like it =)

Eh.. don't smudge the text. It would be difficult to read. Some more effect added to it would do good though.
